Josie “Earlean” Hennesay Pellow, 92, of Hattiesburg, died March 25, 2018, at Forrest General Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Hardy Street Baptist Church, followed by burial in Forrest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Pellow was a member of Hardy Street Baptist Church.

Earlean was born May 12, 1925 in Texas. She was a longtime resident of Laton, CA and Fresno, CA. She and her husband, Jerry farmed with their three children until his early death due to cancer. She then moved to Fresno with her children and began a long career in the food industry. She later retired from both F.W. Woolworths and Valley Medical Center. Earlean will be remembered for her kind and gentle heart. She had an endless capacity to care for others, always putting herself last and having a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family.

Earlean was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald “Jerry” Hohderffer and Lawrence “Larry” Martin; two daughters, Linda and Judy; her parents, Joe and Rhoda Hennesay; and 12 siblings.

Survivors include her husband, James W. Pellow; son, Gary Hochderffer; grandchildren, Amy Hochderffer, Carrie Garcia, Carrie Garcia, Cherene Beatty, Daryl Hochderffer, Erik Mott, Jerry Hochderffer, Kevin Hochderffer and Megan Moore; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg and from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
