LCT Moore was a member and served as a deacon at Petal First Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army for 31 years, including active duty in the Korean War, before his retirement. He loved teaching and coaching the young men and women he had.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lessie Moore; a son, Kerwin Todd Moore; four brothers, Rudolph Moore, Oree Moore, Cooper Moore, and Purvis Moore; and one sister, Martha Helen James.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elaine Moore of Petal; his four children, Lloyd A. (Gail) Moore of Florida, Vickie (Ronnie) Hensley of Tennessee, Mark W. Moore of New Jersey, and Kay Moore of Florida; two grandsons, Matthew Todd Shepard, and Ray Clamp; two great grandchildren, Lillie and Tres Clamp; one sister, Pat (Jimmy) Henry of Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
