HATTIESBURG (November 8, 2017) — The Hattiesburg Zoo was named a Community Grant nominee by the Turtle Creek Branch of Wells Fargo Bank, who provided a generous donation to the Zoo’s annual ZooBoo event. Their donation allowed the Zoo to put on a spectacular education-themed animal show twice each night for ZooBoo guests.

As a thank you, staff members of the Hattiesburg Zoo recently took a special guest to visit with the Wells Fargo employees. Mo, the female Hoffman’s two-toed sloth, was on hand to get back rubs and take selfies with bank employees and patrons. Each employee also received a special keepsake from the Zoo.

“The Turtle Creek Branch of Wells Fargo has been a consistent supporter of the Hattiesburg Zoo and we are delighted to welcome their commitment to us again this year.  Their recognition of the Hattiesburg Zoo as a part of their national community grant program encourages us to keep up our efforts to grow this unique attraction in Hattiesburg,” Rick Taylor, executive director of the Hattiesburg Convention Commission, said.

For additional information, call the Hattiesburg Zoo at 601.545.4576 or visit the Zoo online at HattiesburgZoo.com or on Facebook.
