Armed robbery at Exxon in Laurel on Friday

On Friday, May 11, at approximately 2:22 a.m. in Laurel, LPD Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Exxon station located at 3705 Highway 15 North. The suspect, a white male wearing a gray jumpsuit and mask, entered the store, brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled on foot behind the store but no vehicle description is available.

There were no injuries reported from the incident. LPD is seeking any information about the suspect or if any citizens may have witnessed anyone in the area at the time of the incident.
